Pupils from Alexandra Park School have taken part in a competition to raise money for a charity of their choice. We are very grateful they have chosen Markfield.
Yael Gee, Tula Sarkar, Amelie Mellor and Alba Howgate-Freij visited us during our Family club and did a great job putting together a presentation about Markfield which included photos, information and interviews with our director and some of the families they met here.
We are delighted to announce that they have won the competition organised by First Give and that Markfield will receive a donation of £1000.
It is great to see young people learning to use their skills to help improve lives in their community!
