During the Easter holidays, Markfield ran its much-loved playscheme — and this year, we added an exciting twist! We organised a very special outing to London Zoo, giving 21 of our children a chance to explore the wonders of wildlife right in the heart of the city.
The day was packed with fun and discovery, with the penguins proving to be a firm favourite among the children.
We were incredibly grateful to the zoo staff, who were not only welcoming but also made the visit extra special with their enthusiasm and knowledge.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the families who supported the trip, and to our amazing Markfield team whose hard work made this unforgettable day possible.
Our next playscheme will run during the half-term break, from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th May, with fun-filled days scheduled from 10am to 3pm.
