Our very popular Stepping Stones programme will be back in September 2022.
Stepping Stones is a 10-week sensory play and language programme. It is tailored for families with children under the age of 5, with additional needs in communication, social skills and language.
It is designed to equip parents and carers with the skills and knowledge to confidently interact with their children through play and music.
The programme offers:
- support to understand your child’s play needs
- a supportive, informal environment where parents and carers can learn and share their experiences
- a family journal to guide you through the programme

If you are a parent or carer you can contact us directly or attend any of Markfield’s drop-in groups where we can give you a referral form. You can also speak with your Health Visitor, Family Support Worker or another professional – they can help refer you.
