Hamish Brindley is cycling from Vancouver in Canada to South San Diego, the Mexican border.
He’ll be pedalling 1,857 miles along the west coast of The United States, entirely self-supported and self-funded and covering an average of 77 miles a day.
He is leaving on the 15th June and finishing on the 15 July.
Hamish lives locally in the Fountayne Road community.
He held a fundraiser at Markfield called Rotating Machine and managed to raise £232.
