We are very excited to announce that Markfield is taking part in the London Play’s Go Karting competition- Formula Fun!
The charity London Play has included us in their final Formula Fun event in Spitalfields Market. This is part of the London Mayor’s #Let’s Do London campaign – to celebrate the reopening of London and getting people back into restaurants, etc.
As part of the project, London Play is going to different locations to build karts with teams, but the Markfield team are going to the grand finale! Our food theme is Middle Eastern since Brother Marcus Restaurant is our sponsor.
This has been a really fun project for the kids. Dom Wicks has put together a team of children from the Open Access sessions and they have been working on it over the summer. “We are going all out…decorations and fancy dress, the lot!” says Dom.
The actual event is on Sunday 5th September from 12 to 4pm, so if anyone wants to come cheer the team on, please do!
